Platelet-Rich Plasma Injections

A conventional blood draw is taken from your arm and then your blood is separated in a centrifuge and your concentrated platelets are used to put back into your body in the area of focus/injury to help your body heal. The PRP has many growth factors that help heal ligaments, tendons, bone, cartilage, nerves, muscles, and even scars.

PRP as regenerative medicine can help significantly restore your mobility and reduce/eliminate your pain.

Literature:

Partnership between platelet-rich plasma and mesenchymal stem cells:

“Overall PRP stimulates MSC proliferation, preserves MSCs multipotency and does not interfere with any lineage differentiation.”

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4049651/

Knee Osteoarthritis:

“The results confirm the efficacy of the PRP injections on the KOA, also suggesting that decreasing pain was obtained already after one month after injection with best results observed after 6 months.”

PRP not only can help with pain but can even regrow cartilage. Below are significant findings for the knee joint.

Shoulder Rotator Cuff injuries:

PRP injection is a safe and effective treatment for RC cuff injury in patients who have failed conservative treatment of activity modification and physical therapy without deterioration of results two years after treatment.

Low back pain:

The use of PRP in various injections, such as intrafacet, intraligament, epidural, intradiscal, spinal fusion, and intramuscular injections, has yielded promising results that have been reported in recent literature.

MEDICAL MARIJUANA

In order to qualify for a Medical Marijuana card you will need to have been evaluated by another provider for one or more of the following conditions:

Bloodwork

Bloodwork testing has come a long way recently and is an amazing medical tool to see A LOT of what is going on inside the body at a given time. We look at your bloodwork more intricately than most all other providers. We highly recommend doing our initial Core panel that includes regular annual labs (CBC, CMP, Lipids, Blood Sugar parameters, & Hormones/Thyroid), as well as micronutrient levels and food sensitivities that could be significantly impacting your health. Treatment plans are based off removing anything that could be hindering your health and then building you up as naturally as possible to make your foundation as strong as can be without drugs and surgery. Pharmaceuticals are then added as a supplement* to an already strengthening foundation for any extra optimization needed. Treatment plans include diet guidelines, a pharmaceutical grade vitamin formulation to be taken daily (from bloodwork deficiencies), herbals (when needed), and pharmaceuticals – peptides and hormone replacement (when needed). We prioritize foundational health first!

Work with Dr. Clark online anywhere in the United States (diet advice and supplements available anywhere you are, pharmaceuticals available for Arizona patients only) after you place your order by clicking on the link below. We will ship you a blood testing kit you can take to your nearest blood draw facility. We will help you with the entire process once you complete your order.

What to Expect:
Our pricing includes your initial consultation, draw fee, and the follow up phone consultation. We do not accept insurance for bloodwork. AZ patients, make sure to come into the office food fasted (for 12 hours) but well hydrated with water for your appointment.

Cash Pay Pricing:

Male/ Female Core Hormone and Health Initial Consultation, follow up phone consult, and Labs all inclusive (Annuals, Blood sugar, Lipids, Hormones, Micronutrients, and Food Sensitivities) – $700

Re-draw follow up for anything Dr. Clark recommends and consult- a redraw for select labs of focus to dial in levels at around month 2.5 (discounted re-draw rate at this time period when you schedule before 90 days-$200 includes follow up phone consultation), and annual labs at month 12 thereafter are $350.

Peptides

‘In recent years, peptides have received increased interest in pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics and various other fields. The high potency, specificity and good safety profile are the main strengths of bioactive peptides as new and promising therapies that may fill the gap between small molecules and protein drugs. Peptides possess favorable tissue penetration and the capability to engage into specific and high-affinity interactions with endogenous receptors. These positive attributes of peptides have driven research in evaluating peptides as versatile tools for drug discovery and delivery. In addition, among bioactive peptides, those released from food protein sources have acquired importance as active components in functional foods and nutraceuticals because they are known to possess regulatory functions that can lead to health benefits.

Peptides play an essential role in fundamental physiological processes and are necessary for many biochemical processes. A peptide is a short string of 2 to 50 amino acids, formed by a condensation reaction, joining together through a covalent bond.[1] Sequential covalent bonds with additional amino acids yield a peptide chain and the building block of proteins.’

BPC- 157: A Peptide that can help regenerate and heal injured tissue of many different types.

‘BPC 157, a pentadecapeptide derived from human gastric juice, has been demonstrated to promote the healing of different tissues, including skin, muscle, bone, ligament and tendon in many animal studies.

In conclusion, the BPC 157-induced increase of growth hormone receptor in tendon fibroblasts may potentiate the proliferation-promoting effect of growth hormone and contribute to the healing of tendon’

Peptides & Growth Hormone benefits

“CJC-1295 is a 30 amino acid peptide-based drug that stimulates the release of growth hormone (GH) from the pituitary gland.”

“Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide (Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2), which displays high GH releasing potency and efficacy in vitro and in vivo.”

Human Growth Hormone (hGH) information:

“Human growth hormone (hGH) is a peptide hormone that is best known for influencing bone and muscle growth and body composition. 1 The primary source of circulating hGH is the pituitary gland. hGH is secreted from the pituitary in a pulsatile manner, with the majority being released at night. 2 The greatest predictor of hGH secretion is age; hGH secretion is highest during adolescence and decreases with aging. 3,4 However, hGH levels are also influenced by many other external factors. Exercise, stress, hypoglycemia, and some amino acids have been shown to stimulate hGH release, while elevated glucose, free fatty acids, and other amino acids have been shown to inhibit hGH release.”

“Secretion of growth hormone (GH) and IGF-1 levels decline during advancing years-of-life. These changes (somatopause) are associated with loss of vitality, muscle mass, physical function, together with the occurrence of frailty, central adiposity, cardiovascular complications, and deterioration of mental function. For GH treatment to be considered for anti-aging, improved longevity, organ-specific function, or quality of life should be demonstrable. A limited number of controlled studies suggest that GH supplementation in older men increases lean mass by ~2 kg with similar reductions in fat mass. There is little evidence that GH treatment improves muscle strength and performance (e.g. walking speed or ability to climb stairs) or quality of life. The GHRH agonist (tesamorelin) restores normal GH pulsatility and amplitude, selectively reduces visceral fat, intima media thickness and triglycerides, and improves cognitive function in older persons.”

Medical Disclaimer: Some evidence suggests (but is still inconclusive) some peptides that can increase growth hormone, such as CJC/Ipamorelin or others listed in peptide offering list, may accelerate pre-existing cancer or tumor growth. This is why it is important to do annual bloodwork and maintain regular checkups with your primary healthcare physician.*
