Strength Doctor offers the following blood tests through SpectraCell Laboratories: Micronutrient, Hormones, Thyroid, Genetics, CardioMetabolic, Complete Blood Count, and Comprehensive Metabolic Panel. We also offer Food Intolerance testing through Alletess Medical Laboratory. Don’t wait in a waiting room for hours to get your blood drawn, give us a call and we’ll come to you on your time.
SpectraCell’s Micronutrient test provides the most comprehensive nutritional analysis available by measuring functional deficiencies at the cellular level. It is an assessment of how well the body utilizes 33 vitamins, minerals, amino/fatty acids, antioxidants, and metabolites, while conveying the body’s need for these micronutrients that enable the body to produce enzymes, hormones, and other substances essential for proper growth, development, and good health. This test provides the basis of a personalized, functional approach in addressing a broad variety of clinical conditions including arthritis, cancer, cardiovascular risk, diabetes, various immunological disorders, metabolic disorders and micronutrient deficiencies.

HORMONAL BALANCE
SpectraCell Laboratories offers comprehensive male and female hormone panels that reveal the overall state of hormonal balance in a patient. Like nutrients, hormones influence all aspects of health and disease – mood, sleep, metabolism, immunity, heart health and appearance. An imbalance of one hormone can initiate cascade of events that alters other hormones, so a comprehensive look at hormone status is key.
Hormones 101
Hormones are chemical messengers that are secreted directly into the blood, which carries them to organs and tissues of the body to exert their functions. There are many types of hormones that act on different aspects of bodily functions and processes.
Imbalanced hormones can cause the following symptoms:
- Fatigue
- Poor brain function/brain fog
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Low libido
- Difficulty maintaining an erection
- Blood sugar imbalance
- Poor tissue repair
- Aching joints
- Osteoporosis
- Hair loss
- Dry Skin
- Abnormal weight gain
- Loss of muscle mass, or difficulty putting on muscle
- Insomnia
- Abnormal sweating, night sweats
Symptoms of hormone imbalance also include:
- Abnormal weight gain
- Low libido
- Loss of muscle mass, or difficulty putting on muscle
- Insomnia
- Abnormal sweating, night sweats

Thyroid: Thyroid hormones directly regulate every cell in our body as most basic functions like metabolism, emotions and thinking. We also test several proteins that affect thyroid function as well as antibodies to thyroid which can detect autoimmunity (when the immune system attacks healthy tissue) and your levels of cortisol, the stress hormone.
The following are symptoms for hypothyroidism:
- Fatigue
- Frequent, heavy menstrual periods
- Forgetfulness
- Weight gain
- Dry, coarse skin and hair
- Hoarse voice
- Intolerance to cold
The following are symptoms for hyperthyroidism:
- Irritability/nervousness
- Muscle weakness/tremors
- Infrequent, scant menstrual periods
- Weight loss
- Sleep disturbances
- Enlarged thyroid gland
- Vision problems or eye irritation
- Heat sensitivity

Telomere Testing
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The first commercially available telomere analysis in the United States.
What does Telomere Testing measure?
COMPONENTS
Telomeres are sections of genetic material at the end of each chromosome whose primary function is to prevent chromosomal “fraying” when a cell replicates. As a cell ages, its telomeres become shorter. Eventually, the telomeres become too short to allow cell replication, the cell stops dividing and will ultimately die – a normal biological process.
SpectraCell’s Telomere Test analyzes:
- Lysis of Cells
- DNA Extraction
- Amplification

Overview
A complete blood count (CBC) is a blood test used to evaluate your overall health and detect a wide range of disorders, including anemia, infection and leukemia. A complete blood count test measures several components and features of your blood, including:
- Red blood cells, which carry oxygen
- White blood cells, which fight infection
- Hemoglobin, the oxygen-carrying protein in red blood cells
- Hematocrit, the proportion of red blood cells to the fluid component, or plasma, in your blood
- Platelets, which help with blood clotting
Abnormal increases or decreases in cell counts as revealed in a complete blood count may indicate that you have an underlying medical condition that calls for further evaluation.

Comprehensive Metabolic Panel: A comprehensive metabolic panel is a blood test that measures your sugar (glucose) level, electrolyte and fluid balance, kidney function, and liver function. Glucose is a type of sugar your body uses for energy. Electrolytes keep your body’s fluids in balance. They also help keep your body working normally, including your heart rhythm, muscle contraction, and brain function. The kidneys help keep the right balance of water, salts, and minerals in the blood. They also filter out waste and other unneeded substances from the blood. The liver helps with digestion and produces some vitamins and other substances that the body needs. It also controls the amounts of glucose, protein, and fat in the blood and releases substances that keep your immune system healthy. This panel measures the blood levels of albumin, blood urea nitrogen, calcium, carbon dioxide, chloride, creatinine, glucose, potassium, sodium, total bilirubin and protein, and liver enzymes (alanine aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase, and aspartate aminotransferase).

Are food intolerances causing your stomach and body distress? While a food ‘allergy’ can result in an acute immune reaction that can be a hospital emergency- food intolerances are more subtle, and may not appear for a couple of days after you have eaten the offending food. Signs of food intolerances include:
- diminished athletic performance
- gas
- bloating
- abnormal weight gain
- aching joints
- impaired workout recovery
- brain fog/decreased mental performance
- low energy
- diarrhea
- constipation
- hemorrhoids
- gastrointestinal pain
- abnormal mucous production
- itchy/scratchy throat
Some of the most common food intolerances are: wheat, corn, eggs, dairy products, peanuts, citrus, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, and seeds. Listed below are the foods included in our baseline intolerance panel consisting of 96 foods:

Hey Doc.
I came to see you to renew my medical card 2 weeks ago, I have degenerative disk and had a lot of muscle atrophy on the right side of my body and you mentioned the PRP. I do think this is something I would like to try and would to get more information on the cost.
Hi Philip!
The cost for the procedure is 450. Let me know when you can make it in. -Dr. Clark
